Selected in the fourth round and 133rd overall in the NFL draft, Ryan Switzer is a 5-foot-8, 180-pound receiver from the University of North Carolina. Throughout his collegiate career, he scored 19 touchdowns and caught 244 passes for a total of 2,907 yards, marking his place as the university’s all-time leading receiver.
Also a skilled punt returner, Switzer broke a record of the Atlantic Coast Conference by scoring seven touchdowns on punt returns, missing the all-time NCAA record by just one return. He is likely to contribute most as part of the Cowboys’ return team, given that the team has re-signed receivers Terrance Williams and Brice Butler.
